this portrait will be given to my friend as a gift.
she was looking much joyous in the photo, but she somehow looks sad in the portrait.
it has been such a long time since i drew...
i need to hold a pencil more frequently.
regardless of its level of completion, i quite enjoyed drawing this.

i think you captured my mixed feelings so well by painting! i got home safe.. it was so hard to manage those two heavy bags around in the airport but barely made it! i'll stop by your blog often and you should leave your whereabouts more often using your photos, write-ups, and paintings! i look forward to interacting with you this way! =)
